Description: From its home domicile in nearby Fayette County, Tennessee, comes this worthy representative of the most popular high powered rifle ever made, John Moses Browning’s Winchester model of 1894. From its 3796000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1972, the fourteenth year of the Bonanza TV series, and eighteenth year of Gunsmoke, where its mates played frequent supporting roles. Manufacturer was Winchester Olin of New Haven, CT, and barrel is marked – Winchester – ® – Model 94 – 30-30 Win. / Made in New Haven, Conn. U.S.A. Winchester Proof Steel. Construction is all steel metal parts, with stamped steel shell carrier. Forend and Buttstock are American Walnut, with a buttstock length of pull at 13 1/8 inches from the .312 rounded smooth face trigger to the end of the factory checkered surface steel butt plate. Barrel is 20 inch with 1:12 six groove right hand rifling. Sights are screw on serrated ramp front with dovetailed beaded blade, and traditional semi buckhorn rear that is step adjustable for elevation and screw drift adjustable for windage. Magazine tube is full length steel, and holds 6 .30-30 Winchester caliber cartridges, so 6 + 1 total capacity. Hammer is traditional .370 serrated spur. Safety mechanism is lever safety, so that the trigger will not operate without a firm hold on the lever. Receiver is drilled on the left side to accommodate a side scope mount. Weight empty is 6 pounds, 8 ounces, with center of gravity at the breech face. This specimen saw light action on white tail dear, beavers, and coyotes in the Wolf River bottomlands of West Tennessee. Surface detractions are only moderate, some dulling to the wood finish and some weather whitening on the sides of the receiver and lever. We rate this 54 / 94 as Very Good, 75 percent vicinity; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Internal parts are all milled steel, far superior to the specimens made from 1964 through 1969. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. Loading gate shows only minimal white wear on its forward edge. From our knowledge of this rifle and its exclusive owner, we estimate it has been fired fewer than 150 rounds. Replacement pricing is upwards of $500 on most any 1894 Winchester. We’re offering this one, however, for only $ 359.00.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
