This gun was carried by a Deputy Sheriff of San Bernardino County California. It has a 4-3/4 bbl, COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER on a single line left side of barrel. All matching serial numbers. Original Colt Eagle grips are pristine. Three line patent dates are clear. 44 CF appears clear on left side front of trigger guard. It is charcoal black in color with some holster shine on tip of barrel and cylinder. A Colt letter accompanies this sale showing the shipment date of March 4, 1890. A dull black tooled leather holster showing wear is included. It has silver buckles and trim pieces in good condition. Black charcoal color with some holster shine on tip of barrel and cylinder.
