Winchester Model 1873, 38-40.

Serial no. 5680XXX 1903 Mfgr. 24” octagon barrel with full magazine, Very good bore, has some pitting and rifling wear Barrel & magazine retain approx. 70%+ thinning original blue w/some rust and pitting evident. Straight grip walnut buttstock and forend are darkened by oil. Buttstock has a crack just aft of the top mounting screw, see photo. Other than that there are light dings and handling marks. Crescent butt plate with compartment. Dust cover is missing.
