Has a 33” oct barrel with period style sights and DMF script initials on top of the barrel. The lockplate has engraving and a name ending in UNL ? The stock has a brass patchbox , toeplate and inlayed star on the cheek piece. The patchbox has a ball and patch material. The wood as carving throughout the stock similar to what you see on early French guns. Metal overall has a dark aged patina finish. Appears to have come right out of the attic.
