Stevens Model 44 is a CUSTOM Rifle that is in unfired condition. This gun is a CUSTOM RIFLE with a serial #19715. It is a Falling Block Lever Action that is chambered for 25 WCF or 25-20. The barrel is a 24 3/4" Round Barrel that is Blued 100%. The front sight has a dovetail base slot with a type 17 Lyman Hooded front sigt in the dovetail. The rear sight is a vernier tang peep sight with windage and elevation. It has a case hardened plain trigger and hammer. The receiver is case hardened and brightly colored. It has a Walnut checkered forend. It has a Walnut straight stock - no pistol grip with a checkered wrist. It has an LOP of 13 1/2" over a steel butt plate. The bores is in NEW condition.
