It is pre series 70 and happens to be one of the few Government models which had the angled slide serrations that they normally only used on the target model. According to the shop I bought it from it was customized by Ed Boening of Boening's Custom Guns in Medford, Oregon. It has a sweet trigger, and a fully adjustable Wichita rear target sight as well as a very nice target front sight. It has a beautiful shiny blue on the sides of the slide and matte on top. It has displayed excellent accuracy with the few rounds I have through it. It is in excellent condition and a real nice Colt. Selling all my guns so check out my other listings.
