Santa Fe British Enfield .303 Jungle Carbine – This is a re-barreled Mrk 1 .303 British Enfield Jungle Carbine from Golden State Arms Corporation of Pasadena California. Very hard to find!! The bore is in like new condition. The rear stock has been replaced by an ATI glass filled nylon Monte Carlo stock which is far superior to the original wood stock making fast target acquisition with the open peep sights. The forward nylon forearm is included in the auction. This rifle has the original 10 round .303 magazine. This is an excellent brush gun suitable for hunting boar and bear. The Enfield bolt action is one of the fastest bolt actions ever made. It can be fitted with a no drill scope mount also made by ATI but I believe that it would be better to tap and screw on mount on this particular rifle.
