We are offering a Stevens Model 416 bolt action Match Rifle chambered in .22 LR. This gun is in fantastic condition for its age.
The 25” barrel is very good retaining 95% of its original bluing. There is some general surface wear. The muzzle end shows the bulk of the wear; loss. The bore is bright and clean with strong rifling. Receiver is in similar, 95% condition with some wear; patina. Both the barrel and receiver are fit with stock scope mounts. The receiver is also fit with a peep sight, brand unknown.
The furniture is beautiful. One piece walnut stock shows light handling wear. No major flaws. No chips or cracks. Stock is fitted with sling studs and a metal butt plate.
