There is also a rail hand guard available for this model. We have a photo attached of a rifle with a picatinny rail hand guard, but this model does not include the picatinny rail hand guard, just the standard round vented hand guard pictured in the photographs. The picatinny rail hand guard can be purchase separately from Thureon Defense, or we would be happy to order it for you for an additional charge.

The 9mm Thureon Defense firearms are chambered for the 9 x 19mm cartridge, and are designed to function with a wide spectrum of 9mm ammunition. We have tested our carbines with ammunition ranging from subsonic velocities to +P power levels. All of them cycle the action consistently and function reliably. Any variant of the 9 x 19mm cartridge is acceptable, whether labeled “Parabellum”, “Para”, “Luger”, or “NATO”.
The only exception is the CCI Blazer, aluminum cased, ammunition. Thureon Defense has nothing negative to say about the CCI brand or their Blazer line of products; it simply doesn’t work well in our firearms. While Blazer ammunition is safe to shoot in the carbine, you may experience feeding problems when using it.

Our guns are as pristine as they come, no nicks, scratches, dings, mechanical damage, etc...things sometimes commonly found in conventional gun shops where guns are handled daily as they are in the process of being displayed and examined by customers.
Our guns have never been touched after leaving the factory, only to verify contents prior to being placed in our warehouse, and to take photographs where applicable.
