Very unusual heavy barrel target model Stevens 416. The 3/4" diameter barrel is 26" long with a crisp clean bore. the finish is an amazing 99%, could possibly be a reblue? Color of the medal is a Winchester blue, not modern blue/black that's Shiny.Markings deep and strong, no rust or pits! Walnut stock is a heavy target type. Action is very good. On barrel it's stated: STEVENS MODEL 416 STEVENS X BARREL .22 LONG RIFLE. Front sight is hooded, and rear peep sight is professional target type.Butt plate is checkered steel, with edges showing some rust, but doesn't stain or affect the stock!
