It is an older Winchester 1894 that was a .30-30 carbine. It was converted to a .38-55 with a brand new 24" Texas Sesquicentennial tube. Along with this was fitted the Texas Ses. forearm, gold post front sight, full buckhorn rear sight, gold lever and gold magazine cap on a new magazine tube. I took it in trade with some other rifles and intended to shoot it at cowboy matches but it never happened. It has been test fired only. This is an original Win with original Win parts, no after market. I was surprised to find out commerative parts where ever available as these WERE NOT take off parts.
