K98 GERMAN MAUSER – 8 MM. Meticulously hand refinished by James River Armory, a highly respected Civil War and military firearms restorer. This is an original piece with intact original Nazi markings and Weimar Eagle inspection stamps on individual parts, and with matching serial numbers on major components (re-serialized).

This rifle has an original stock set with correct finish, properly cartouched; original sights and bands; correct cupped butt plate for the maker and year; original barrel in good shootable condition; all critical areas inspected and headspace checked for safety by a certified armorer; all metal detail refinished in proper bluing and polish. Comes with a one-year James River warranty for functionality, and a Plano Gun Guard hard case.

This rifle was built by J. P. Sauer und Sohn Gewehrfabrik, Suhl in 1942; (Richard D. Law, “Backbone of the Wehrmacht – The German K98K Rifle 1934-1945”); a historical piece without question and in beautiful condition. Use it to shoot, for re-enactment, for modernizing with its time-proven action, or to collect.
