This is a M1/M2 Carbine front sight protective block. It is designed to eliminate barrel roll and damage to the front sight ears while trying to remove pin.Simply slide it over appropriate milled or stamped sight, visually inspect for hole alignment and pin location,then drive out pin with 1/8" pin punch (not provided). It can also be useful for re-assembly. I also have a smaller block that is for stamped sights that will accomodate the milled ones (but noticeably loose).It will be listed seperate .
