SS#1809XXX 1960 production Winchester Pidgeon grade model 12 trap, grade 5 engraved with 7 gold inlays and "B" carved trap wood. LOP 14 1/4" with Winchester recoil pad, 30" full choke barrel with "Duck Bill" vent rib. Like new inside and out. I have this gun listed as "new" but I can't swear it has never been fired. I know it hasn't been fired in over 50 years as this was my dad's gun (Harold Hatfield) and to my knowlege he never shot it. The gun comes with a reprint from a 1990 American Rifleman magazine about Neil Hartliep, the engraver, retireing at age 77 and going to work for the NRA teaching engraving. The only faults I can find with the gun is that the original saftey has been replaced with a Crowe saftey and there is one very small light scratch on the barrel just ahead of the mag. tube.(see photos).
