This is a 2nd Generation Black Box SAA Revolver with a Nickel finish. It is in .357 Magnum caliber with a 4 3/4" barrel. This configuration is very rare in that Colt only produced 70 guns total like this. It was manufactured in 1962 with all the .357's in Black Boxes being produced between 1960 and 1964. This is all original with the cylinder and grips numbered to the gun. I rate the overall finish at a solid 98% with only very minor surface scratches (see pictures). This comes in the original Black Box numbered to the gun with manual, Handling the Handgun pamphlet, Warranty card, wax paper, and cleaning brush. A Colt letter that comes with this gun states that it went to Eagle Saving Store in Long Branch, New Jersey on December 17th 1962.
