Chambering is for 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells interchangeably; front sight is high visibility red fiber optic; choke tube is factory .670 XX Full Lead Only, down to about a 16 gauge; buttstock and forend are traditional serrated and pebble texture black-and-OD-green camo as is the barrel and magazine tube. Capacity is 5+1 for 2 3/4 inch shells, or 4 + 1 for 3 inch magnums. Surface wear is only moderate for this shotgun, wear to the camo finish here and there, and we estimate that no more than 15 percent of the finish is affected. We rate this shotgun as a strong Very Good, close to Excellent specimen finishwise, but photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. It is certainly excellent mechanically. The bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. From the looks of the double slide bars, this 500A has not been fired over 100 rounds.
