This CZ 52, carries a blue finish rather than the more usual park. finish. It comes with a CZ holster, cleaning rod, one mag and lanyard. In case you are unfamiliar with these CZ guns, they were manufactured in the Czech Republic by Ceska Zbrojovka, used by the Czech military and police. They are of a unique design and durability. This pistol carries the Czech army acceptance proof for 1954. It also shows that it went through military rework in 1977- probably where it obtained the blue finish.
The CZ52 is an original design by CZ, using the same type locking mechanism as the German Mod. 42 (MG42) machine gun. I know of no other pistol with this rolling design. I have found the CZ52 to be extremely strong and reliable. A friend and I have run thousands of rounds through our "test" guns [ammo is dirt cheep]
without one failure. The Czech 7.62x25 round was also used with small CZ machine guns so there were zillions of rounds of the stuff manufactured which makes it possible to find the stuff for less than 10cents a round. For shooting practice, fun, and affordability you cannot find a better combination than the CZ 52 and the 7.62x25 round. Oh yes, I have never broken a firing
pin because I have never been so foolish as to dry fire a pistol.
