S&W DA .45 - Model 1917 Military # Cal./Gauge: .45 # Chamber(s): 6 Shot # Barrel(s): 5 1/2 Inch # Weight: 34 Oz # Sights/Scope: Fixed # Trigger(s): Standard # Stock: Smooth Walnut # Metal Condition: Good - holster wear and some surface pitting # Wood Condition: A few chips in the bottom of the grips # Bore Condition: Good This is a nice example of an early military version of the .45 Hand Ejector Model 1917. The serial number of this pistol is 45,639. While not pristine, the satin blue finish shows normal use - holster wear, and wear along the sharp edges. The uncheckered wood grips are also correct for the military version. A lanyard is missing on the bottom of the grip of this gun.

Augusta Arsenal inspection mark "AA" is stamped on left side of frame, but no evidence of any refinishing.

Postal Money Orders, or certified funds will ship immediately. All other forms of payment will be held until cleared by our bank. We allow a three day inspection and ask that you do not fire or disassemble during that time. If the firearm is returned within the inspection period we expect it to be in the same condition that you received it. Please pack well for shipping as we do...... I visually inspect all firearms but do not fire them. All guns should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing.... FFL Required,
