COLT Model 1860 ARMY Commercial W/ Case is complete with shoulder stock, Colt bullet mold 44 H, Colt’s Patent Flask, and combination Tool. Serial No. 149512 manufactures 1863. Barrel measures 8”, Rifling Sharp, some slight spotting. All numbers match including the wedge. The Walnut grips are showing wear on the corners at the butt. Steel back strap, brass trigger guard, showing only small areas of residual plating in protected areas. The gun appears to have been
polished at some time. The stock Exhibits two serial No’s, 149511 + 149512 both on the lower tang and the top strap of the butt plate. Giving cause to believe that this was originally a two-gun set. The lower tang of the stock exhibits a nicely repaired crack 4 ¼” forward of the rear end. The case is not original but nicely crafted of mahogany with form fitting red
velvet dividers. The gun is tight and in excellent functional condition and NRA Very Good Condition.
