GRUMSKRU Photos show representatives of factory Smith & Wesson grips to fit any K or L frame revolver with a square butt grip frame. If the shopper is not clear on the difference between round and square, please see the attached photo. K and L round butt grip frame designation, of course, includes models 10, 12, 13, 19, 64, 65, 66, and 686. Since the recently produced Air Lite Revolvers like the 386 have round butts, these grips will work for the K or L frame variants. These grips come to us from service with the Ohio and North Carolina Departments of Corrections; and they came mounted on Round Butt Smith & Wesson models 64 and 65. This is the larger variant of two Uncle Mike’s Grips; we refer to these as Conversion grips, since they present a feel like the old Square butt Combat Grips. All of them are serviceable, but they do show wear. All of them have their screws. Scouring is most pronounced on the right panel, and that is always the case with used Police Grips. The juncture seam on the back strap area will show moderate signs of pulling, but these are still serviceable and better than nothing. We rate these as Fair to Good, 50 to 60 percent vicinity. They are factory issue grips, and Smith & Wesson issued them with their revolvers most of the time during the 1990s. Replacement pricing for Hogues, Uncle Mikes, and Pachmayr Grips usually runs upwards of $30 for a set, sometimes more.
