This MP44 was manufactured in 1944. The bore is in superb shape as is the rest of the gun. The finish is original, and you can tell from the pictures that this gun has never been abused. There is a very very tiny hairline crack in the stock. The grip panels are the more commmon wooden type. The components all match as they should. The internal condition is excellent. The rifle functions well. The only visible flaw other than the hairline crak in the stock is a very slight bit of damage to the dust cover, which is perfectly funtional and does not detract from the gun. This is a Merz-Werke made gun as verified by the codes on the receiver and the 'Circle M'. JP Sauer (ce) sightpost and some other componets as is standard procedure for this series.
