I have a Pre WWII FN Belgium Browning A-5 Shotgun - serial #80XXX. I have two barrels, one is 28" and the second is 32", both have a matching serial number to the forearm and the serial number on the underside. There is some pitting on the longer barrel which does cover up some of the writing on the barrel but some markings are still visible. There is a 2" split on the forearm but it has not gone all the way through (see picture - one shows the split and the other is the inside of the split).

'Fabrique Nationale d'Armes de Guerre - Browning's Patent Depose" is marked on the side of the gun.

"Browning Arms Company Ogden Utah" is stamped on the short barrel.
