Description:

SS#1xx From a mid-west estate sale a Model 1903 bolt action 30/06 cal. rifle. Custom Target Conversion. At the sale they said the work was done by the world famous Sedgley. I can not prove this as there are no marking on the gun (I have not taken this gun out of the stock so there are possiably concealed stamps) but the quality of work is obvious. I have not shot this gun but it functions perfectly and has a great bore (I have not cleaned it). The wood stock is prefect with no chips, cracks, or dings other tan a few light handeling marks(see photos). The metal finish has very little wear but does have a few light scratches. 24" barrel, LOP 13 1/2" with a black Pachmayer recoil pad on a checkered walnut stock with a black pistol grip and nose cap. Elevated blade front and rear peep sight. This is a very high quality custom gun in excellent condition. I am selling this gun with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if it fails to live up to your expectations in any way return it for a full and speedy refund (see my feedback). We trade guns.

Cashiers check or money order only. Ship to FFL holder only. Shipping is $25.00 which includes a tracking number emailed to you. Insurance is optional. Missouri residents pay 7.7% sales tax where applicable. Three day inspection “No Questions Asked” return policy.

A member sent me the following information..............The action and barrel look very much like Sedgley. The same 3 digit serial number in the tang bolt channel should be on the rear of the bolt handle. A Sedgley assembly number that is different from the serial number will be on the bottom of the receiver and barrel. This same assembly number will be stamped into the stock channel just forward of the front action screw hole. The last Sedgley catalog I have is dated 1940 and you stock looks to be later then that period. Nevertheless, it's a classic stock. I would be interested to know if the bolt handle has the 3 digit serial number, R.F.Sedgley Inc, Phila, Pa.USA on the barrel and if you remove the stock if the Sedgley style assembly numbers are present on the bottom of the action and barrel. Thanks....................yes the numbers were just were you said they would be and I added them to my listing as the last two photos but I haven't taken the stock off for fear of damaging it
