GR0523 Here is a professionally refinished set of factory Smith & Wesson grips to fit any N frame revolver with a square butt grip frame. A Methodist Preacher in Tennessee, not the artisans in Springfield, Massachusetts, performed the work. If the shopper is not clear on the difference between round and square, please see the attached photo. N frame designation, of course, includes models 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29 and their 6 model number prefix Stainless counterparts. Since we do not know of any Air Lite or Night Guard revolvers with square butt, those 325 and similar variants are out of the picture here, these won’t work for them. These are period correct for revolvers manufactured from the 1950s until the mid 1980s. Left grip panel does Not have the speedloader cut; that began spasmodically in the mid 1970s. The wood itself is authentic Goncalo Alves, and these grips, from their markings, left Springfield Massachusetts some time in the mid to late 1980s. Logo plating shows some pre-finish weakness, a moderate amount of brass coloration showing where the nickel has worn, and the checkering has some filling from the finishing process. Right panel exhibits some superficial scouring to its glossy refinish. We rate them as Very Good / Refinish, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
