Hess Knives Gladstone, Michigan The Hess Knifeworks company started in August of 2005 by brothers Andy and Chris Hess and their father Don Hess. Each knife made by Hess Knife Works is handmade from the highest quality of woods. All handles are hand selected to ensure that each is free of any defects. Blades are made from high quality 1095 carbon, cryogenically treated to a hardness of 58-60c. All sheaths are handmade from the highest quality leather. Made in the USA, all components from the blade to the handle.
