Winchester model 55 takedown in 32 Winchester Special caliber, made in 1927. Excellent bore, 24 inch barrel retains 90%+ blue, receiver flaking to silver as usual with Winchesters of this era. Winchester ramp front sight, period receiver rear sight, Marbles blank in barrel dovetail. Takedown mechanism works properly, locks up tight with perfect alignment. Wood is excellent, 90%+ factory finish, some very light handling marks but no cracks, chips or extra holes. Buttstock has correct Whalen design fluted comb and serrated steel buttplate. This is a super clean and lightly used model 55 that will be a welcome addition to any collection.
