It has Blackburn Express bottom metal, Model 70 style bolt handle and 3-position safety, and a McMillan CZ Express stock. The 22" Schneider barrel was installed and chambered by Sid Goodling, Spring Grove, PA; the remainder of the metal work was done by NECG; and the stock work was done by McMillan. The gun comes with a Leupold 2.5X scope with a German #6 reticle in Warne Maxima QD rings and bases. The build was started in 2005 and completed in 2009. The express sights are regulated by NECG for 50 and 200 yards shooting a commercial 465 grain load by A-Square. The stock is painted a tan color, a good base if you want to add other colors, and the metal is finished in Black-T. The lettering on the rear sight has been highlighted in white paint for easier viewing. The performance of this rifle is spectacular. The gun shoot 1" groups at 100 yards and shoots to the sights at both marked ranges. It has a 13.5" length of pull and with scope weighs 10.5 pounds with a point of balance at the receiver ring.
