For sale from my private collection is this like new 40X Benchrest rifle straight from the Remington Custom Shop. It has the original McMillan benchrest stock with the 3" wide flat forend. It also has the original stainless steel bull barrel which has had less than 1 box of Eley Tenex EPS fired through it. The chamber, bore and crown are in "as new" condition and are factory original. This rifle shot eight (5 shot) groups in the .2's with the four lot numbers of Eley Tenex ammo that i tested and will be a winner with a good marksman. It has the original factory trigger which has never been adjusted and i will include the original owners manual. Plus if you buy this rifle, i will include for free an unused 10-40X50mm World Class P.L.U.S. scope which was Tasco's top of the line retail model and has much higher quality glass than the Standard, Target/varmint, or World Class lines of scopes. I gave $300 for this scope several years ago and they haven't been made for a few years now. The scope includes two different length sun shades which can be used together or separately. Also included are the original screw in lens caps and original paperwork. The scope has the large target knobs with no caps covering them for quick adjustments. You won't find a nicer original 40X Benchrest rifle for the price and you can always sell the scope if you don't want to use it, which makes the price even better on the rifle.
