Matte blue finish. It has been discontinued by S&W this year, and will surely increase in value. I put exactly 50 rounds of .32 S&W Long and 20 rounds of .32 H&R Magnum ammo through it, and will include the brass in the sale. It shoots great. Even though it weighs only 13.5 ounces, recoil is easy to control. The factory Hogue grips feel great--better than the model 442/642's Uncle Mike's type grips. The frame looks like the same one used in the high-$$$ S&W 640PD and their other PD series .357 magnums, with lightening cuts, frame pins, recessed lanyard notch, etc. This is a perfect back up gun or CCW gun. Selling to fund my fly fishing addiciton. No marks on it other than a faint cylinder line from normal use. Comes box, manual, lock, warranty card, and anything else new ones come with.
