The receiver is CNC-machined from high-grade 7075 T6 Aluminum. While most semi-autos' action bars are welded together, the Silver Eagle's action bar is machined from solid steel and attaches to the piston with an interlocking fit. No O-ring needed on the piston either, due to tight CNC tolerances. The barrels are also CNC-machined from C1060 steel and plated with hard white chrome and certified for use with any factory load including steel shot. The stock is beautiful hand-finished Turkish walnut. Gun has a 5-year warranty from the original dealer. Gun is 1 month old, and has had less than 100 rounds shot through it. There are a few very minor handling marks on the barrel, action, and stock. Most (if not all) of them were there when I took it out of the box the first time, and they are very minor at that. The gun is very well-built. Engraving is a little cheesy for my taste, but of course that doesn't affect the performance. It shoots great, cycling the 1 1/8oz AAs we were shooting flawlessly. Felt recoil is very light. I bought it for my 9-yr. old son, and he got along with it great. With no thick recoil pad, he was able to shoot it just fine. I later won a 28ga o/u in a charity shoot, and my son has decided he likes the o/u better than the semi-auto. I like cleaning the o/u better than the semi too, so that's the reason I am selling this one. Gotta buy a reloader for the 28ga. Reasonable offers considered.
