WOW! ABSOLUTELY BRAND NEW IN THE BOX COLT SF-VI .38 SPECIAL, 2" BARRREL, MATTE STAINLESS STEEL. EXTREMELY RARE - MANUFACTURED FOR ONLY A VERY SHORT TIME. Serial Number 5013SV - Confirmed by Colt to be 1998 manufacturing date. This is most unusual as it is generally accepted that SF-VI's were only made from 1995-1996....and the DS-II's were manufactured from 1997-1998. This firearm came as pictured with the same grips that were being used at the time for the DS-II. It also comes with the new style case that was introduced in 1997. I have never seen another SF-VI in a new style case WITH MATCHING SERIAL NUMBER. Absolutely has to be one of the very last SF-VI's ever made. Next step in the evolution of the Colt Detective Special. THIS FIREARM IS IN PRISTINE CONDITION FOR THE DISCRIMINATING COLLECTOR!!! It's a GEM!!!!! No dents, dings, or scratches. This firearm just sat in the box for the last 8 years. Colt box with MATCHING SERIAL NUMBER and paper work in MINT CONDITION including, Colt Double Action Revolvers Manual and Authorized Repair and Service Stations.
