Its serial number prefix is 181, and it was manufactured in 1981. This one’s only detractions are a few small light pecks on the stock, more conspicuous on the left side; and some stress indications on the action screws. All of this is visible in the photo. This rifle’s forte, however, is its immaculate blue finish. It simply shows no wear other than one tiny white spot on the upper left of the rear sight. Bore and mechanism and excellent, immaculate. Receiver and gas mechanism housing [the metal piece showing on underneath of forend area] have a hint of earlier reddish Ruger finish. This rifle came from the same collection as a 1971 SP-1 Colt and a Winchester 94 of roughly the same age. The only magazine it comes with is a good-looking 30 shot aftermarket clip.
