It performed beautifully on Prairie dogs in the past. It is in excellent condition except that the prior owner removed the original iron sights. I do not have them. In their place, I have mounted a nice 3x9x40 Plainsman Scope that has a wideview lens with dual x reticle (similar to a tv screen instead of round) and includes plastic see-through lens covers. The rifle has the best trigger I've ever had on a rimfire. The stock has much nicer wood on it than the newer Anschutz models. The stock is more like that of a fancy 70's big game rifle than a rimfire, and includes a nice rosewood nose cap and very nice checkering at both the pistol grip and forearm.
