This Savage/Anschutz 141M Custom Grade Sporting Rifle in 22mag shoots better than I can with the new Federal 30gr hollowpoints. It performed beautifully on Prairie dogs in the past. It is in excellent condition except that the prior owner removed the original iron sights. I do not have them. In their place, I have mounted a nice 3x9x40 Plainsman Scope that has a wideview lens with dual x reticle (similar to a tv screen instead of round) and includes plastic see-through lens covers. The rifle has the best trigger I've ever had on a rimfire. The stock has much nicer wood on it than the newer Anschutz models. The stock is more like that of a fancy 70's big game rifle than a rimfire, and includes a nice rosewood nose cap and very nice checkering at both the pistol grip and forearm.
