The tang is marked MODEL 1893. Serial number 256xxx. NRA Modern Good to Very Good Condition, all original, including the sights. Approximately 94% blue remaining on barrel and magazine tube. The frame shows small areas of case color, but mostly a mottled metallic-gray surface. The stock shows the usual dings & dents, but no cracks or missing pieces; it retains most of the original varnish. The bore is somewhat dark, but has strong rifling.
