This gun came from an estate here in CT. It is a duplicate to another gun, I'm selling . They were both imported by LYMAN in Middlefield, CT in the 1960's. This one has a dull flat color on the frame, and only markings are the proof marks and on side of the barrel: FOR BLACK POWDER ONLY MADE IN ITALY. Works very well never fired, and barrel has outside finish of maching marks. This is an exact copy of the Remington 1858 .44 cap and ball.
