K. Stark Hatehouse 12 ga English SxS, rebounding hammers, back-lock action, SERIAL NUMBER 1. Numbers match: Forend, water table and barrel. 29 13/16” skelp-pattern Damascus barrels. Swamped rib. English-style stock; no pistol grip. Right barrel bore diameter is .717”, 1.5” from the muzzle, to .720” at the muzzle. Left barrel bore diameter is .713”, 4” from the muzzle, opens to .727”, 1” from the muzzle, then to .720” at the muzzle. Appears to be choke-bored. Bores are bright; minor spotting. Skelp twist is nicely visible from end-to-end, including swamped rib. Forend has horn-tip inlay. Forend has several minor dents / mars. Case color on receiver are bright, except the wear point, which is graying. The hammer’s match, excellent condition, no repairs. Locks are case-hardened, but mostly graying (the rear 2 ¼”). The firing pins are fine; functionally sound. LOP 14 3/8” including horn buttplate. Stock shows no chips cracks; very sound. Several minor mars and dents.
