B.W. Darr custom bench target rifle, 35-40 1882 Maynard caliber, single action, custom built, Remington rolling block action, serial number 174, (1875). Total weight is 12.5 pounds. Barrel length is 30 7/16 inches, No. 5 octagon, 1.188 inches across the flats, left-twist rifling, bore is excellent. Standard single trigger. Unertl-type bases, barrel mounted. Base for Vernier-type sight mounted on upper tang. LOP 13 7/16 inches, original military stock. Inletted hole in bottom of stock for sling swivel has been professionally filled. Stock is solid and strong. Barrel bluing is excellent. Receiver, hammer, rolling block, and trigger guard all show old re-bluing. Overall bluing coverage is 98%. Overall functional Condition is Excellent A+++. This custom gun was built-up in 1975, but as the Rolling Block action and frame are antique. No FFL requried. Thank You For Bidding!
