Sharps & Hankins Cavalry Carbine

Here is an original Sharps & Hankins Cavalry model carbine that has been converted to center fire. It also has a 2 inch chamber in the breach to allow it to use blanks made from .44 mag. brass. I used this gun for Civil War Reenacting and it has proven to be a reliable shooter. The stock is in great shape and the metal has very little pitting but does not have much blueing or case coloring left. The front and rear sights are reproductions but the rest of the gun is all original. This would make a unique gun for reenacting or to own as a piece of real Civil War history.
