Thomas Turner & Sons, Reading, England 12-gauge double. Serial number 60125. 3-inch magnum chambers. The barrels measure 30 inches with excellent bores and have been reproofed. The barrel rib is concave with machine cut swirl and gold bead up front. Blue on barrels rates +95%. The boxlock receiver shows strong case color on both sides along with makers name in banner and neatly engraved foliate scroll patterns (25% coverage). The bottom of the receiver is blue finish with light engraving. The receiver bottom shows a few very light scratches. Double set triggers with LOP of 14 5/8-inch from front trigger. Drop at comb is 1 1/2-inches and drop at heel measures 1 7/8-inches. The hand rub oil finish stock is with rounded pistol grip and splinter forend. Each neatly checkered with point patterns and borders. The stock rates excellent with very little handling. A fine English double weighing in at 7 1/4 pounds.
