Remington M-1903 A3 BA rifle, .30-06 cal, serial number 4007657, made in 9-1943. 24” barrel, front band, blade front sight, receiver mounted rear peep sight with windage and elevation. Smooth trigger. Integral box magazine with stamped guard and floor plate. LOP 12 7/8”, straight stock, stamped blue-steel checkered butt plate with cleaning rod trap. Numerous markings, which include: “FJA” in a box (Frank J. Atwood); “RA” (Raritan Arsenal); “OG” (Ogden Arsenal), and, on the barrel, rear of the front sight, is “R A / 9 43,” arranged at four points, with the ordnance marking in the center. Minor dings in the wood - nothing of any significance. This rifle is in excellent condition - it has not been reworked. FFL required.
