This is the FM 30 also called the Belgian MLE 1930, which is an FN made Browning automatic rifle originally based on the BAR. Some differences are : ejection port cover, adjustable gas regulator,magazine cover, quick change replaceable barrel which will dis-assemble easily. This gun has a high and low speed in auto mode. This is a RARE MG , and is in the caliber 30-06. It comes with 10- 20rd magazines which are similar to the BAR mags but not interchangeable.The stock was made by the owner from nylon due to the original wood being so badly beat up. The bore has sharp rifling but is dark. This is not a reweld and was originally papered on a form 5 in the early 60's and is a C&R gun.
