STAFFORD engraved single-shot

T. J. STAFFORD, NEW HAVEN, C (for Connecticut) made single-shot tip-down pistol or derringer, patent dates on butt MARCH 19, 1860, serial # 1040, cal. .22 rim fire, 3½ inch ribbed barrel with maker`s name, nicely engraved with silver plating which is peeling, correct ivory grips. Today all examples found are rare, engraved were only few. NRA fine condition.
