Serial # is 341881. Model of 1884 in .45-70 Caliber. The Rifle is marked "U.S. Springfield 1884" on the sideplate on the right hand side of the rifle. 80% Original bluing. Bore is good condition with crisp rifiling and some minor spotting. Stock has some dings and wear but very good overall, no cracks. Missing ring on lanyard bar(these were removed for hunting purposes) Needs minor repair to internal lock, the hammer will not stay in half-cock position.
