What I have here is a custom made black powder cannon barrel. Carriage is minimal and free. Also, I have a linstock, worm, and some tools for making the "puck" as well as some Fg cannon grade powder that would be available to the buyer if desired. It measures 39 inches in length with a 2 2/4" bore. I estimate its weight somewhere around 200 pounds, maybe more. It is heavy. We used to use four guys with a barrel gurney to move it into its stage position. It was made for me by a machinist in 1994. The steel in this piece is remarkable. It is really hard yet flexible. It has to bend over miles under the earth to get the drills to oil reserves. A knock with a knuckle (ouch) causes the steel to ring. He used oil drill bit sheathing and turned it on a large lathe. He used the same steel for constructing the end breech as well as a large cross pin and he sweat welded it together. It is styled as an 18th century or earlier barrel, but that should not daunt any CW enthusiast. Any good machinist with a full shop could smooth the barrel out to make it period, but of course, then it is done. I am pricing it for sale because I have long since ceased using it. It's just in the way now. It was used as a stage gun at an outdoor Renaissance Faire, where it was quite a spectacle.
I have found that I must get a weight on this gun. Will post it here soon with a estimate of shipping. I will work with whoever you find for shipping and will build a box if you pay for wood. All shipping costs are your responsibility. I would of course cooperate with any company you might retain. Priced for quick sale - $700.00 OBO
Note; Black powder cannons are dangerous and I am offering this cannon with no guarantees of any kind, except that it will fire.
