Construction is completely milled steel barrel and receiver, with steel trigger goup, all of it parkerized. Stock and forend area heat shield are GI style oil finish American Walnut. Barrel is Four Groove, 1:20 Right Hand twist. Sights are early WWII type two-leaf aperture, and safety is Early War type as well, push-button. Manufacturer’s marking, Auto Ordnance / Worcester, MA, located behind the rear sight. Detailing is correct throughout. Magazine included is a current production blue steel AOC 15 rounder. This is more than a classic, it’s a slick made carbine, slicker and more smoothly finished than even the originals were. A Mint Condition M1 commands upwards of $2000 these days.
