Description: From its 0 range serial number, this Ruger Stainless Redhawk was manufactured in President Reagan’s Reelection Year of 1984, the first year of production for the .357 Redhawk. Of course, the .357 Redhawk was only produced for two years. To the best of our poor memory, its exclusive retail owner bought it new from us that year. It has undergone fewer than 1,000 rounds of firing from our knowledge of the owner and from its condition. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint surface buffing and scouring here and there. Factory walnut grips are original, and surface scouring is minimal to the original grips, mostly buffing effect. We rate this .357 Magnum Redhawk as Excellent, since no more than 10 percent of its surfaces are affected by any contact evidence in our estimation. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. It is Excellent mechanically, as Redhawks almost always are, given the fact that they are the strongest and most rugged of their type. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel’s forcing cone is minimal, only an etchy streak with no depth that traverses about 80 percent of the width of the top strap. Bore, cylinder chambers and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Double action trigger pull is smooth and consistent, and the hammer travels a full 15 degrees on all six positions in double action after the cylinder times. This is a strong suite that one rarely sees on a stock Smith & Wesson 686, the competitor responsible for the marketing demise of the .357 Redhawk. On single action, the hammer travels fully 25 to 30 degrees after the cylinder times on all six, and the single action trigger pull measures a crisp 4 5/8 pounds with no felt creep. Lateral play to the cylinder is negligible, less than 1/2 mm by our estimate; both ways with the trigger relaxed and fully depressed. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap is a tight .005. Other specs are traditional double and single action revolver, black anodized detachable ramp front sight with period correct Millett style red inlay and black leaf adjustable rear sight; .315 smooth faced combat trigger with matching width serrated spur hammer; transfer bar internal safety mechanism; capacity 6 rounds of .38 Special and .357 Remington Magnum caliber ammunition; barrel length 5 1/2 inches; true square butt grip frame; weight empty 50 ounces. We’re offering this very rare .357 Redhawk for only $ 789.95. Not transferable to civilians in California, Chicago, Oak Park IL, D.C., Massachusetts, or New York City. Since D.C. circumvented Heller simply by adopting California regulations, we anticipate that possibility for Chicago and New York City now that the McDonald ruling has come down.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
