The story behind this rifle is that National Ordinance (post WW2) was a company that purchased new surplus WW2 leftover parts and using their receiver, assembled this 1903 Springfield for the commercial market. Barrel is a RA 7-44 date code with a hooded sight and is in good condition inside and out. Receiver is National Ordinance s/n 5027474. Bolt has a B.P and an R marking. Stock has a A.A.Q. left side and a P by the magazine and is in very good condition. Very tight and smooth bolt action and a crisp trigger pull. Gun appears to have not been used a lot over the years and is overall a very decent firearm for its age. I will take a credit card for an additional 3% charge.
