The P2000 US uses the trigger system introduced in 2001 on the USP compactLEM (Law Enforcement Modification) model. This unique pre-cocked hammersystem combines the advantages of a cocked striker component (constantlevel of trigger pull and short trigger travel from first to last roundfired) with a double action hammer system. The P2000 trigger pull has beenreduced, 7.3-8.5 pounds of pressure.
