Mauser Model 1909 Manlicher, .308 cal., very low 96xx serial number, very clean rifle overall, full Manlicher type stock, 23" barrel, unique three range type rear sight, numbers on gun not matching, chrome bolt, bore shiny and bright, good lands and grooves. Markings, receiver left - waffenfabrik mauser-oberndorf modelo 1909. Two flowers near serial number. This Argentine Modelo 1909 has been customized and sporterized from its original .765x51 caliber to a very good and usable .308 cal., which makes this rifle much more desirable and utilitarian in a caliber that is easy and inexpensive to buy.
