Savage manufacture indicated by: white metal butt plate, "S" on a number of parts, ribbed hand guard. This was one of the original "US Property" Lend-Lease rifles sent to Great Britain. Rebuilt in Great Britain "ROF" and "43" stamped on receiver. Clear, sharp bore. Sound wood stock. A grand, accurate rifle, representing one of the best battle rifles of WWII and the Korean War.
